Initially designed to be a minimalist EDC fixed blade with a skeleton handle, the Prima is extremely versatile in its uses and carry configurations. Made from quarter-inch thick stock, it is fully chamfered with well-placed jimping and slim enough to not get in the way—while also providing plenty of mass for in-hand comfort. Nitro-V has excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining a great balance of hardness, toughness, and edge retention. This steel allows for a very fine, stable, edge, so it is a superb slicer.

John decided early on that he should design this knife to accommodate handle scales. For some people, the minimalist and concealability of a skeleton handle isn't a priority. The added thickness and contour/texture of these scales will make the knife even more user-friendly. Choose from 4 different handle options: Black, Olive Drab, or Orange G10, or Blue & Black CamoCarbon. Scales are easily removable with a T20 Torx driver.

The included Kydex sheath has a thumb push for an easy draw. Its clip can be used for MOLLE gear on packs and gear, as well as on a standard belt or even front pocket carry. The clip is positionable for horizontal or angled carry by removing one screw and tightening the remaining screw (recommended to use Loctite if you do this).
