ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. The Candiru is the most compact knife that ESEE offers yet it is still a ferocious cutter. It, like the Izula, is designed for neck carry or to be a secondary backup knife should the need arise. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

Excels as a backup knife!
After owning 4 Izula's, and really liking them, I had to try a Candiru. Upon first unboxing the knife my first impression was that it was too small and a novelty at best. I'm pleased to share that I didn't give up on it. I wrapped the handle with a slightly heavier paracord than most and it was exactly what was missing! The added texture and thickness really give it purchase in my fingers. Esee states that this knife was intended as a backup or neck knife. I carry mine in my pocket without it's belt plate and am very happy with it. I use my Candiru in my daily carry rotation and like it so well that I've ordered a purple one for my girlfriend.

Amazing Little Knife
Bought this for my wife, but I end up "borrowing" it a lot. Really need to just buy another as we fight over it. Perfect EDC size, stays sharp, hard to beat. You won't be disappointed.
