The Seax Automatic is the first folding design from custom knifemaker Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, created in collaboration with Defiant 7 founders Les George and Chad Nichols. Inspired by Ryan’s long-standing fascination with the historic Seax blade shape, this modern interpretation brings timeless style into a precision-built automatic folder. Proudly made in Mississippi using American materials, it blends heritage and innovation in a knife built to be carried and used.

The 3.5" blade is crafted from Chad Nichols Stainless Boomerang Damascus, composed of AEB-L, 440C, pure nickel, and 304, so it is built to work, it's not just for looks! It deploys with speed and authority through a button-lock automatic mechanism, while the 3D-contoured 6061 aluminum handle provides a secure, ergonomic grip with its black hard-coat anodized finish and light machined texture. A titanium pocket clip ensures reliable tip-up carry, and at just 4.59 ounces, the Seax is light enough to carry daily yet built for serious performance.
