The Turbo Charger is a model that harkens back to Greg's old knifemaking roots and was the first of the "retro" Lightfoot designs that upgraded older pieces with premium materials and brand new internals. This knife is buttery smooth, easy on the eyes, and one of the best folder designs Greg has ever made. It has a distinctly thick, robust feeling in the hand, which has become a signature feature of a Lightfoot knife in recent years. This is thanks to the full-thickness titanium liners that most makers would consider thick enough for a frame lock. It gives each of Greg's pieces a hand-filling quality that you will absolutely appreciate when it comes time to get down to work. Other features include a floating stainless steel backspacer, replaceable lockbar insert, caged ball bearings, and custom six-gun pivot. Apart from this revolver-inspired pivot, all these internals are new techniques Greg has developed over his 30 years making knives.
