Pros: Weight, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material
Amazing knife sharp as a razor
Sharp as a utility blade and feels great in hand. If these thumb studs/bar lock hurt your hands then your wus hands will become tougher with time win/win. The handles do flex a bit, and are a little sharp on the inside corners, but they are incredibly lightweight stock. I've switched over to g10 handles and all of the issues with that are gone. I see a lot of comments about the lock and I can say I haven't any problem with the ABLE lock. It was a little stiffer than I was used to on my fully tuned ball bearing flippers but, once broken in, this is just as smooth as those ball bearings. Pocket clip is deep and slightly sharp on the edges so no vehicle detailing while wearing this one!

Blade vs Performance and function
The blade preforms well as far as I can tell, however I haven't put many miles on it, because of performance and function of the handle and pocket clip. So as far as sharpness of the blade out of the box I would give it a 5. However the performance of the locking mechanism and pocket clip, I would give it a 1 or 2. To begin, The original pocket clip was so brittle and inflexible, I struggled to put it in my pocket. I just figured that's how they come. I'm new to knives, and I thought this would be a good start to a collection. Well after one of these occasions of struggling to put this knife into my pocket, it slipped from my hand and fell onto the floor shattering the clip. I reached out to Hogue and they sent me a new clip. Well this clip was the exact opposite of the first one. it was super flexible. Think paper clip. While working, I was carrying it in my pocket when it snagged on a fence, and there it went, I bent it out of shape. Well the clip is done, and needs to be replaced. I'm having reservations about contacting Hogue again. Well that was the clip saga. Now onto the performance of the locking action of the knife. Because, it was a new knife, it was a little stiff. However, I believed that it would loosen up after use. Which wasn't the case. I spent time opening and closing it everyday, hoping it would loosen up. well it seems to be getting tighter. Not preforming well at all. I don't know if I'm the only who is having this experience with the pocket clips and locking mechanism, but for me this knife is very disappointing.. I just leave it on the dresser. it has become a Magnacut paper weight. So performance and function is a 1.
