The MK Ultra came into being when Jake wanted to make a smaller version of his Kwaiback for his wife's birthday. It turned out to be an amazing little flipper that was tactical yet highly efficient at everyday carry chores. Jakes wanted to bring this knife to market at the most competitive price point possible without sacrificing quality in any way. Thus you have an aluminum handle with a great performing blade made from CTS-XHP stainless steel. It's an upswept trailing point shape that is superbly sharp with excellent jimping on the thumb ramp and an index finger groove providing a precise grip. This custom MK Ultra flipper features an acid stonewashed blade paired with a Mil Spec Type III natural hardcoat 7075-T6 aluminum handle with a green finish.
The stainless steel liner lock insert is completely captured by internal 3D machined pockets and the only visible portion is the generous jimping for lock release. This is a superb design that is very easy to manipulate and provides rock solid lockup. The action is smooth and lightning fast thanks to rolling bearing construction with hardened stainless bearing races.
