KA7511: 7511 Jarosz Camp Turok

KA-BAR Knives

Bigger, faster, stronger. You asked for it and Jesse Jarosz delivered. The Camp Turok is a ramped up version of the popular Jarosz Turok. The 8" blade is made in the USA from 1095 Cro-Van steel. It measures 13" overall and comes with a friction fit Celcon sheath. This is a perfect-sized fixed blade for tactical, camp, and survival tasks in a robust design by custom knifemaker Jesse Jarosz.

The Jarosz family has a long and proud tradition of working with their hands to produce quality products, from woodworking to general carpentry. Jesse used his family's knowledge, work ethic, and access to equipment at a young age to build the skills that would lead to the creation of Jarosz Knives.

Great Blade small grips
Just got my Camp Turok 7511 and it's a beautiful knife ,sheath Is great blade sharp as you'll get from a factory ,love it except for 1 big problem ,the smallish cheap.pladtic grips ,idk why KaBar and BK insist on using plastic instead of at least offering an upgrade ,I'd gladly pay an extra fee dollars for micarta or G,10 ,the problem for me is they are very small and thin I have xl hands and barely get 5 fingers around and I'm afraid without gloves I'd cut myself like many I hope KaBar does what they did with BK and out out a line of replacement grips ,a bit thicker and longer would be great ,I still recommend this knife it's flawless just warning people with large hands ,Iove KaBar and BK they account for half my fixed blade knives

Great Blade small grips
Upon opening this knife I found it to be in perfect condition no flaws at all,the knife looks just as awesome as I thought it would ,one thing I didn't know is the grips are for small hands,I wear xl gloves ,my hands are fairly large and I can't imagine using this knife for heavy use especially batoning because I can't get a good all fingers aboard grip.im guessing to save money they use the same grips on the smaller model 7503 ,I probably will keep using my other larger blades with big grips for heavier use but this has it's uses including just keeping it with my other unused pristine knives ,but for those with smaller hands you will love the knife and grips! Plus it's razor sharp, finish is smooth it's just a beautiful design, unfortunately it will take time for gripmakers to come out with better grips ,I wish KaBar would offer a choice of upgrading grips they are available aftermarket but not these
