Kellam Knives

The Wolverine features a beautiful dyed curly birch handle with a 3.7" long razor sharp SPT carbon steel progression tempered blade. Which means the spine is tempered to a utilitarian Rockwell hardness of 52HRC, while the edge is tempered to 63HRC. You get a blade that will hold an edge almost forever while not being fragile and brittle. The knife comes with a handsome dark brown leather sheath which is embossed with the Kellam Knives logo. These Puukkos are knives that embody the spirit of the wolverine, well respected for its cunning and ferocious hunting ability.

Amazing traditional warmth
There is something special about this knife. It is simple and straight forward like a Mora or Terrasaur, but with a refinement and beauty that makes it “next level”. The knife is impressively sharp, the handle has great ergos considering my XL hands, and the fit and finish throughout is spot on. There is a warmth to the handle, sharp crisp grind on the blade, and the finest “puuko styled” sheath I have ever seen. I would give it higher than a 5 if I could.I have batoned, carved, and made feather sticks with this knife and it excels at all of it.
