The KME Sharpeners Precision Control Plus Professional Knife Sharpening System is a highly engineered kit offering full control and versatility. This system includes a friction-drive angle adjustment with micro-adjustment, allowing for one-handed, precise sharpening at any angle. Its unique stone thickness compensation (STC) system adapts to different stone thicknesses and doubles as a zeroing platform for angle cubes. Equipped with a 360-degree rotating guide bearing and removable monopod brace, the setup provides a stable base, whether on or off its removable stand.
An adjustable stone carrier accommodates any stone between 4” and 6”, while the clamp system ensures secure blade positioning with lever or knob tightening, allowing for easy switching between clamps without tools. The modular jaw system supports various sharpening needs, including options for fine, slipjoint, and broadhead blades (additional jaws sold separately).
This kit’s range covers angles from 10° to 45° per side, and it can handle blades up to 20” in length and 3/8” thick for saber grinds. Included are four KME Gold Series diamond stones for progressive sharpening (XC-140, C-300, F-600, XF-1500), all housed in a foam-lined, durable storage case.
