Kershaw Knives

Enter the tactical cutting world with the Launch 16, featuring a partially serrated tanto blade and extremely high edge retention. This automatic opener withstands the toughest cutting tasks with a thick blade profile and high-end M4, a balanced super steel with superior hardness and toughness. The tanto blade shape is ideal for piercing cuts, and the partially serrated edge will easily saw through rope. TracTec handle inserts, oversized jimping, and a finger choil allow you to grip the Launch 16 securely. This push-button rocket is all stealthy with a black anodized handle and a black Cerakote blade. Carry it comfortably on the go with a reversible deep-carry pocket clip. While discreet, the Launch 16 also makes a lot of noise with a standout blade and unbeatable ergonomics.

Nice knife. Strong mechanism.
I gave this a a gift to my brother. It came sharp but not blistering sharp. I put a 25 degree angle on it because he is hard on knives. I was able to get it shaving sharp in about 15 minutes. He really likes it a lot and it works really well for him. It is his everyday carry knife.

Very capable EDC/tactical option
This is an EDC knife in my rotation. Its components are top notch and well-integrated. CPM-M4 is a fantastic steel, with a partially serrated, black Cerakote tanto blade. The inserts on the handles are very grippy. The low-profile button for deployment works instantly, with a very respectable "snap".My one complaint, however, is that low-profile button. While it is a "safety feature", It makes it very difficult to locate by feel with bare hands, and nearly impossible with gloved hands. This fact relegates this otherwise 5 star knife to 3 seasons for me, as here in the mid-west it gets cold.I absolutely recommend this knife. Fit and finish were on par or above most production knives, size is perfect (IMHO), materials are premium. The activation button takes some getting used to.
