Named after a Galvanometer, which is a tool used to check the conductivity of circuits in electric blasting operations, the Galvo is a shorter variation of Les' V14 Commando Dagger. This boot knife is similar to that awesome knife only in shape and the fact that it has a double edge dagger blade. This is designed to be worn and carried in your boot and wielded only in a last-ditch self-defense scenario. That doesn't mean, however, that this knife can't and won't handle any abuse you can throw at it. This full tang design is made from 0.175" thick flat-ground CPM-3V tool steel with a rugged FDE Cerakoted finish. The shape of the G10 handle, double finger guard, and small ricasso make for very safe handling. The leather sheath is made by Chattanooga Leather Works, the same leather company that does the sheaths for RMJ Tactical which has to be some of our favorites. This is a great backup tactical design that we cannot recommend highly enough—proudly made in the USA.
