The Knifeless Rebar is perfect for environments and job sites that need a handy set of tools, yet don't allow for knife blades. Built for tough jobs and the hands that do them, the Knifeless Rebar features scissors instead of a traditional knife blade. Other essential features include a file, screwdrivers, replaceable wire cutters, a saw and more.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a high strength steel alloy ideal for hand-tools. It does not readily corrode, rust or stain.

Warranty

Leatherman takes extraordinary measures so your Leatherman product will give you many years of dependable service. If it doesn't, Leatherman will gladly repair or replace it, at their discretion, with one of equal or greater value under their 25-year guarantee for tools and 10-year guarantee for lights. This warranty does not cover abuse, alteration, theft, loss, or unauthorized and/or unreasonable use of your Leatherman product. This warranty does not cover sheaths, accessories, imprinting, color finishes, cleaning, or sharpening.

Features

  • All Locking Features: All locking features means that every tool and knife on the body of the handle, with the exception of the plier head, will lock into place. Note that the Crunch; however, does feature both all locking tools and plier head. The all locking design enables the user to operate individual tools safely and effectively. By locking them into place when fully open, the user can put pressure on the implement while safely completing the job, before manually unlocking the tool to stow it away.
  • Lanyard Ring: This secure ring is for attaching the tool safely and securely to a lanyard. Often people who work near water or on scaffolding attach their tool to a lanyard on their person to avoid losing the tool if it's dropped.

Knifeless rebar
Perfect multi-tool if you carry a proprietary pocket knife. I figured the KNIFELESS REBAR would be perfect on my left side while carrying my COLD STEEL AD10 knife in my right pocket. Plus the KNIFELESS REBAR is TSA approved. You can fly with it or take it anywhere that does not allow knives!! It's a awesome little EDC tool combo without the terrible knife steel that dulls out fast that Leatherman is famous for.

Best Leatherman
I've had a handful of leatherman tools over the years, but the rebar is by far my favorite. Never really needed the blade on a leatherman though, since I usually carry a folder or a utility knife. This is lighter than most of the other edc type models, including the wave, curl and wingmabn and sidekick. Also, because of the classic design of the rebar, i just keep it in my pocket, no need for a clip, and it sits pretty comfortably in a vertical position in my jeans. IMO, the leatherman bit drivers are so overrated, and don't work nearly as well as the drivers on the rebar.
