Brought to you by the main man at LionSteel, Michele 'Molletta' Pensato, the KUR bears a close resemblance to the LionSteel TRE series. This model however boasts a larger 3.43" Sleipner steel blade hardened to around 60-61HRC. It features the IKBS ball-bearing system to improve knife opening and closing, giving the KUR an ultra-fast opening action. The ergonomics are fantastic, the weight is perfect for an everyday carry blade, and this knife gives you supreme confidence in the hand for its size.
G10 Handles
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.

Heavy duty knife
Checks all the boxes, built like a firearm. -Good- Overbuilt flipper. Edge polishes up nicely, Sleipner holds a great edge. Stonewashed blade is well done. Rounded spine, contoured handles, extra deep-carry clip, -Bad-Very strong blade detent, very strong clip detent. Jimping on the flipper would deter slipping. -Nit pickings-PB washers would be more suitable for hard use.

Rusted Blade
I was so excited to get this knife. I honestly still think it is a phenomenal knife, the most disappointing piece is that after only having the knife for about 3 weeks, the blade has began to rust considerably. I will be returning it unfortunately. Other than that the blade shape was nice, the G10 handle material felt a little cheap. I'm not sure if all Sleipner steel rusts this easily but I am very hesitant about getting anything from Lionsteel with this steel now.
