With the upgrade to MagnaCut steel, this classic Tim Stetzer design is now the perfect way to get one of the highest-performance steels available today on a handcrafted knife. This steel has a unique combination of high toughness and high edge holding, which is something no other stainless steel today can achieve. This makes it the perfect choice for this do-everything knife design.

The versatile spear point blade is a bushcraft classic. With a length of just under 4-inches, it lends itself well to nearly any task, from woodcarving to skinning to drilling. The edge itself is scandi ground and is finished by expert sharpeners. This type of edge is perfect for camping and bushcraft, while the spine of the blade features a crisp, 90-degree angle for scraping or striking a ferro rod, also known as a firesteel.

The comfortable handle on the Bushcrafter is shaped by hand to remove any hot spots and provide hours of comfort under hard use. With a broomstick-style handle, this is a knife that will fit just about anyone. The single finger cutout functions as a rudimentary finger guard and helps index the knife in the hand very well. The scales are secured to the tang with fisheye bolts in addition to high-strength epoxy, granting durability that will last a lifetime.

The knife would not be complete without a sheath, and the included JRE Industries leather sheath makes it easy to carry the Bushcrafter. Retention is good, and there is a 3/8" diameter leather loop on the side to facilitate easy carry of a fire steel. Additional rivets allow versatile lashing options. The sheath can be used with the included dangler attachment for drop-leg carry. If you prefer your knife to carry higher on the belt, you can remove the dangler, or simply fold it underneath and out of the way.
