The new A016, Leather Sheath, is designed to fit the Generation 2 Fixed Blade knife and marlinspike. The marlinspike fits into a specially designed pouch for easy access. Both the knife and spike fit securely without the need for additional hardware.  Both the knife and spike are quickly available when you need it most. A grommet near the top of the sheath allows you to attach either the spike or knife (recommended) to the sheath with a lanyard.  Myerchin recommends a lanyard (about 36″ long) for most applications. The A016 also fits the Generation 1 knife and marlinspike.
