Description
ME923RR: 923/RR AM22, Red Maple Wood
Maserin
Maserin began production in 1960. They have kept the tradition of artisan blacksmiths that gave Maniago, Italy its name as the "city of knives". Through its constant growth, Maserin has been able to maintain the prestige of the classic knives made in Maniago unchanged.
The Maserin 923 AM22 is a collaborative effort between Coltellerie Maserin and famous knifemaker Attilio Morotti. This marvelous, compact fixed blade features a 2.75" flat-ground blade with a clip point shape. Although small, this blade will easily conquer any task you throw at it. The handle slabs are comprised of red dyed maple wood held together by two screws on either side of the full tang. The blade is very thin behind the cutting edge, allowing for excellent cuts and slices. The leather sheath contains a magnetic clasp for easy opening and closing with minimal wear to the strap. If you've never owned an Italian-made knife, then the Maserin 923 is a perfect starting point due to its low cost, great materials, and excellent build quality.
