These Messermeister Push Button Take-Apart Poultry Shears have a patented pivot mechanism that uses a bearing system for smooth operation while always keeping the blades in perfect alignment. There are no clumsy screws to come loose. The black titanium-nitride coated blades come apart for cleaning with the press of a button and reassemble just as easily. The sharp blades are precision milled from durable 4mm high-carbon stainless steel, then bonded to an outer layer of black Titanium-Nitride for stain resistance. A bone notch and micro-serrated edge keep food securely in place while cutting. These poultry shears are open-assisted with an internal torsion spring to reduce fatigue. The offset blades provide the maximum amount of cutting force and a lock mechanism keeps the blades closed when not in use. The handles are double injection molded with a soft grip for comfort.
