The Afterburner is another excellent slim carrying design from Nemesis Knives. The perfect size and weight for a neck knife, it comes with a beadchain and two open loop holes in the sheath for attachment. Made from Kydex, the sheath solidly secures the knife without any rattling sound whatsoever. The 2-1/4" blade is a functional shape and made from high quality 9Cr13 stainless steel which can be easily resharpened. The skeletonized handle reduces weight and the entire package comes in at 2.1 ounces.

9Cr Stainless Steel
A higher-end Chinese steel with great corrosion resistance, 9Cr will take a good edge but will need some attention to keep it at a razor sharpness.
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.
This is a tank of a neck knife! I would consider it a backup survival knife. There is nothing delicate about it, yet the thick blade is ground well enough that I am able to shave with it. The blade shape is somewhat like a nessmuk hunting knife, and the knife works well in several grip positions. The sheath is quite secure. It may be a little heavy for some people's tastes, but I would recommend this knife.
