Nemesis Knives
Nemesis Knives fills the gap between the truly handmade knife and the mass-produced product. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing methods, both here and abroad, enables Nemesis to maintain product consistency and meet demand. Although Nemesis benefit from the tight tolerances the latest technology provides, each knife still requires careful assembly, hand fitting, and final finishing before it can leave their shop. This extra attention to detail is evident in the end product.

Nemesis Knives is a nimble company that presents trend-setting custom designs to a wide audience. Their focus is to always create fresh, exciting products for you to use and enjoy and to market them without a lot of needless superlatives. Nemesis Knives produces a high caliber product that represents good value—one that you will be proud to own.

The NK-20 Vertabrae was designed by custom knifemaker Rick Haney out of Chattanooga, TN, based on his custom model with the same name. It is a terrific EDC tool with a large amount of belly and just the right balance of strength to weight ratio. The 3.625" 9Cr13CoMoV sheepsfoot blade is hollow ground for additional sharpness with a brushed satin finish, lightly jimped thumb ramp, and thumb slot opening method. The blade rotates open smoothly and locks up tightly, riding on a caged ball bearing pivot system with a superb detent. Whether you use your middle or index finger to flick the blade open, this knife can and will accommodate. The skeletonized handle is made from highly textured G10 over stainless steel liners with a tip-down, right carry pocket clip and a perfectly jimped lockbar face for excellent purchase. It's a very stout, capable design for its size and its smooth action makes it a very enjoyable everyday carry.

Cons: None
Nice design.
This knive has a different look which was the seller for me besides my name being Heyne. There is absolutely no play in this. A little hard to flip at first due to the design and no thumbstud, but you get it. Beffy blade which I like and will feel comfortable for edc. I am very happy with the price and the look of this knive. By the way it is very smooth in delivering the blade.

Nemesis, not Emesis
There are times when I have succumbed to the unique appearance of a knife a purchased it. I know that this is an uncommon ailment and hope that you will forgive me. The F&F are very good. The Spydie oval works very well to open the blade with one hand. The blade was badly centered at the time of my writing this. All it took to center it was a quarter turn with a T8 bit. (Excuse me while I look for my Loctite.) I have not done any prolonged cutting with this but I believe that the clip will create a hotspot along the palmar side of my knuckles. (Right hand.) I do like the clip, despite that fact that it is not a deep carry. I have read that this steel is roughly equivalent to 440C. If the finger choil is that, it's a fail. Too small. If the sharpening choil is that, it is a fail. Too big. I have no regrets in this purchase.

Excellent knife.
This is a wonderful knife. Weight, balance, look, feel, textured handle, blade, and quality. The picture doesn't do it justice. Those familiar with Spyderco, it reminds me of a Tenacious flip.
