The USA-made Nordsmith Pilgrim is the "right-sized survival knife," providing strength and versatility in a compact package. Envisioned by Founder David C. Andersen, this handcrafted blade was designed to be the one knife you can grab at a moment's notice and know that you will be taken care of.
As the old saying goes, the best survival knife is the knife you have on you. With a blade just under 4-inches long, the Pilgrim is easy to carry and immensely capable. The versatile, drop point blade was designed to shrug off any outdoor task thrown at it. Campers, bushcrafters, hunters and survivalists alike will find something to love about this blade. AEB-L steel provides fantastic toughness and edge stability in a stainless steel that holds a great edge without much effort required in sharpening.
With handles made from canvas Micarta, the full-tang Nordsmith Pilgrim offers plenty of grip, even in wet conditions. The handles feature an apex on the pommel, allowing the user to concentrate their force when striking without the drawbacks of a protruding tang. Since it is contoured by hand, the pommel is still comfortable for bushcraft uses such as drilling holes in a hearth board for a friction fire.
The Nordsmith Pilgrim comes equipped with a black-dyed leather sheath made by JRE Industries, providing function, versatility, and style. It is equipped with a dangler attachment (allowing the sheath to be carried low or high on the belt) and a fire steel loop that will accommodate a 3/8" ferrocerium rod for fire-starting on the go.
