ON8798GR: OKC Ice Series Terrain Lightweight Wraith

Ontario Knives

The Wraith Lightweight folder is designed to be ready when you are and always available at a moment's notice. With a contoured handle inspired by the Cerberus and Spec Plus-Alpha series and a stainless steel blade, the Wraith is nearly ethereal in your pocket and a workhorse outside of it. It's so lightweight in fact that you'll often forget you have it clipped to your pocket until it's needed. The Wraith Ice Series now includes multiple colors of translucent handled knives: Terrain, Fire, Glacier, Smoke, and Clear ice. An intensely strong lock-back system with 1.4116 stainless steel, recurved blade, and plastic handle make the perfect combination for a lightweight, razor-sharp, low-profile everyday carry option.

Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Ease of Opening, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type
VERY stiff spring, difficult to use.
Of all the lock blade knives I've owned over the years this is seriously the stiffest spring in anything. There's almost no way to use the thumb stud to open it one handed, and to close it you have to push the lock almost all the way in which is difficult with big fingers in this small knife. I contacted the company a week ago and no response. Apart from that..I'm really impressed. It's a beautiful knife and the blade material is good and sharp. Unfortunately I bought this for someone with only full use of one hand and there is no way she will be able to open it as is. It's too inexpensive to return. I'm going to have to take it apart and try to modify it to at least make it serviceable.

Seriously Surprisingly Sharp
I don't know how but out of the 9 or 10 more expensive pocket knives that I do own for work and field carry this is literally the best...So cheap and so good!! IT comes hair splitting sharp out of the box i was shaving paper into strips like it was butter. Literally the most underrated cheap knife on here..lol!!

Clearly a fun knife
It is fun to have a translucent knife to view the inner workings of the back lock, plus green is my favorite color. I expected this knife to feel cheap, based on the price and materials, but it is no gimmick. An actual working knife and I actually really like the blade shape. The drop point has a nice belly on it. But that pocket clip is awful. It is so thin and protruding I snagged it multiple times the first day I carried it. It is much better to remove it and carry the knife in pocket. Small enough it could fit in most jeans fifth pockets.
