The Bon Appetit collections are Opinel's latest attempt to bring the iconic brand to the table. The Bon Appetit knives are neither paring nor steak knives; they are the best of both. Their simple lines with a slight contemporary feel will bring elegance to your everyday life. The handles are made of wood and may expand and contract with extreme humidity (or lack of) and will temporarily affect the mechanism. Yes, they are dishwasher safe too, though it is not recommended. The blades are made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.
