PMP Knives

The PMP Spartan XL is a folding knife fit for the famed warriors of ancient Sparta, or yourself, and is a completely different animal compared to the original. Its massive size makes it extremely versatile, ranging from survival to food prep to tactical with ease. The wide drop point blade has a clipped tip for improved penetration and additional strength and the high flat grind allows for superb slicing capabilities. The opening is either the ambidextrous thumb slot or the extended blade tang which is both a front flipper and wave opener of sorts that deploys the blade as it's drawn from the pocket. The grip is simple yet extremely comfortable and effective, it provides a solid ergonomic hold. Full skeletonized steel liners, a ridged stainless steel backspacer, a lanyard hole, and a right-hand spring pocket clip round out the features of this impressive monster of a knife. If you want a little less knife, check out the normal Spartan, it's a perfect user.

My first front flipper
This is my first front flipper. And not my last. Smooth action. I’m thinking. EDC. I can’t believe how smooth it is. The blade is centered in frame. It took a while to get used to the front flipping action. But so good when mastered. The blade is four inches. And I believe it’s the largest front flipper made. My first PMP buy and not my last.. looks like G10 scales. Right hand tip up carry only.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this knife
A big honking knife that behaves like a slim executive folder! The very wide blade is nice and thin, cuts super well. The clip is low and smooth and goes in and out of the pocket super easy. This big knife carries very well. I love this folder. The liners are polished- it looks beautiful. Admittedly, I use 2 hands to open it quite often because I like the snap of the front flipper but the slot in the blade works well, too. I love the materials, I love the action, I love the way it carries, I love the way it cuts. This is a great value!
