The Gym Rat is a compact, lightweight fixed blade designed by RMJ in-house Cerakote expert Bryan Schellenger. It was inspired by the need for a practical blade at the gym and created for discreet carry with minimal clothing. Its versatile size and functionality make it ideal for daily carry in any setting.
The talon-style blade measures 2.375 inches, with an overall length of just over 5 inches. Crafted from 0.125-inch MagnaCut stainless steel, the blade is exceptionally light at 2.3 ounces. A Tungsten-Gray Cerakote coating enhances corrosion resistance and ensures a low-visibility finish. The textured G10 composite handle, secured with Grade 5 titanium fasteners, provides a solid grip. A titanium barbell bead extends the grip area, allowing for better control without increasing the handle size, which measures just over 3 inches.
The Gym Rat comes equipped with a Kydex sheath and ball chain for neck carry. An ambidextrous clip adapter is also included, offering options for pocket or belt carry.
