The Kestrel Scout Light is a high-performance hammer poll tomahawk that fills a roll as a great outdoor adventure tomahawk for hikes and camping, and call fill the roll as a robust first responder breach and extraction tool.
The Kestrel Scout Light is 13" long and features full tang construction made from 0.265" thick 80CRV2 carbon steel with a Tungsten Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and wear. The tomahawk features a 2.875" forward facing edge that is razor sharp, combined with a hammer poll that offers additional versatility. The tomahawks forward edge can be used to breach windshields, penetrate sheet metal, hack through concrete and wood, and many other heavy duty applications. The Kestrel Scout Light is also a highly capable hiking and camping tool. From chopping and splitting wood to camp site clearing, hammering stakes, and food preparation, the tomahawk is an incredible cutting tool for countless tasks.
The G10 handle scales offer a contoured 3D texture that works effectively in both wet and dry environments without an overly aggressive feel. The handles are attached with Grade 5 Titanium hardware with a bronze anodized finish.
