Schrade Knives

This traditional-style slipjoint features two blades inside of a sawcut Delrin handle. The 3.25" clip point and 3.625" saw blades feature a satin finish and are made of high carbon stainless steel. The Delrin handle is comfortable in the hand and the sawcut pattern provides excellent grip in any condition. This knife continues the traditional style of two-bladed slipjoints and carries on the quality that Old Timer is known for.

The Real Old Timer 970t
Old Timer 970t Dollar for Dollar this is an excellent buy.Looks great feels great works great and doesn't break the bank! I actually cut off several "fairly thick' wrist and thumb-thick limbs.and it cuts FAST ... you'll need gloves to really get busy with the saw, a con for me is that the handle is a bit short for serious saw work and a little slippery for that as well. It does, however, a good job. The blade is sharp and easy to sharpen. Nice touch: the ''steel'' toothpick and tweezers assist in removing small pieces of wood from that 'aggressive' saw blade.
