This compact liner lock folder features a handy clip point blade made of high carbon stainless steel and an extremely comfortable handle made of brown Delrin with a sawcut pattern. On either end of the handle, nickel silver bolsters provide a stunning contrast from the Delrin, offering additional sturdiness and a an old-school aesthetic. Timeless Classic
I bought an original made in the USA one back in 1985. I still have it and I still love it. It has too much sentimental value to me now and I don’t risk carrying it, so I bought this made in China version back in 2018. It’s just like the USA version except different steel in the blade. But it’s still a pretty good performing blade. The rest of the build quality is on par with the USA version. In fact, even after 6 years there is no blade wobble. The design of the knife is one of my all time favorites. It is just about perfect. I can’t think of anything that could be improved. I very highly recommend!

50+ years and still great
I have had one of these for over 50 years. It is in great shape. These days, I use it primarily as a letter opener, but have used it to strip wires and some general shop and camping use. I like the unique lock mechanism. It will probably go to a grandchild someday. The blade is a bit more tapered towards the tip than the current version, and I don't think it is stainless steel, but the model number is the same (1940T).
