SIG Sauer by Hogue Knives

Hogue Knives has partnered together with SIG Sauer to deliver a full line of quality SIG Sauer branded knives. These fine tactical and sporting knives represent the ultimate value in tactical folders and fixed blades expressed through Hogue's state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Made in America by American craftsmen, a Hogue knife at your side is a trusted — and trustworthy — companion, an heirloom quality blade combining the best of old-world craftsmanship and design set in the context of modern-day, real-world applications for a tactical blade.

Deployment is based around a strong, custom-designed, oversized coil spring that has been extensively tested and integrated to provide force along the pivot's entire range of motion. The result is an automatic that kicks open with authority every time you call on it. Each knife is individually tested and laser-etched with a unique serial number before it bears the Hogue name.

The K320 is designed to go hand in hand with the P320 firearm, available in Nitron black, Tactical gray, and M17/M18 coyote tan colorways. The polymer grip and texturing are mimicked here, creating an excellent lightweight grip with plenty of traction. The ergonomics are absolutely fantastic and they've allowed for the pocket clip to be positioned in all four corners of the knife which is pretty rare on an automatic. And then there's the action. Hogue delivers some of the best push-button action on the market and the K320 is no different. It fires with authority so make sure you have a solid hold on the knife before actuating as the knife may go flying. An excellent thumb ramp, finger choil, and lanyard hole round out the features of this near-perfect auto knife which we think it's poised to become one of the premier duty knives that money can buy.

Nice Knife
So this is my second Auto Knife the first being a Gerber 06 which is a very good knife but maybe just a touch on the heavy side, but I think the handle on this knife could be just a touch heavier for me to give it a "5". Knife is very sharp and looks to be of good quality. I would recommend this knife. I will use this knife as an EDC knife.

Stellar Knife for the matching set!
I bought this knife as a companion piece to my Sig Sauer P320 M18 pistol. The handle is made from, is the same color as, and is textured exactly the same as the grips on the pistol. The S30V blade, which is wicked sharp, is also coyote brown and is a combo drop-point and serrated edge for maximum versatility. The handle of the knife fits my rather large fist just right but there is an additional choil at the junction of blade and handle to give an even better fit and control ability. On the top edge of the blade, at the junction with the handle, and starting on the handle, continuing about a 1/4" onto the blade is a nice section of jimping, lending even more to the control of this knife. The auto-open function is controlled with the push of a button and be warned because just like the product description mentions, this bad boy has an aggressive, Chuck Norris style kick when the button is pressed...lol! The knife is made secure from inadvertent openings by a sliding lock switch and the blade is foldable by depressing the same button used to open it with. This knife just feels really good in the hand. Not only by how well it fits, but also by the heft of it. It's made fairly light by the materials and strategic design elements implemented to lighten it such as the swedge and thumb hole on the blade, but overall, the knife still has that just right amount of heft to give one the comfort of knowing that it can stand up to just about anything you need it to do. Once they got them in stock the knife shipped really quickly (thanks Knife Center!) and I've had it for about a week now and have used it every day with much satisfaction. Hogue warranties these knives for life and combined with the excellent craftsmanship and materials, I foresee this being the last knife I will ever need to buy. I'm a bit addicted to knives though so it probably won't be...lol! I highly recommend this knife and look forward to many years of use to come.

First Review of the New Hogue Sig Auto Knife!
I am honored to be the first to review this excellent knife. I bought this knife as a companion piece to my new Sig Sauer P320 M18 pistol, also in coyote brown and I must say that they make a handsome pair that I will proudly carry as my EDC. This knife is every bit as snappy as the product description says so be warned! It's ok though because the handle, which is the same material as the grip of the pistol and with the same grippy texture, is an inch wide and nicely fits in my over-large mitt. The length of the handle fits in my 5" wide hand just fine but there is also a nice finger choil just before the serrated edge that gives a really nice area to work within if need be and there is an equally nice 1 3/8" section of gimping on the top of the handle that leads into a 3/8" section on the top of the blade as well. The blade is also nice and wide at 1 1/4 " and with a length of 3.5" and coming razor-sharp right out of the box (and the really great zippered case it came with that includes the SIG logo embroidered on it,) it will more than stand up to pretty much any task that I will throw at it from opening mail and boxes to cutting cordage and whatever else I need to. The fit and finish are overall very nice with all of the little extras I've mentioned and overall, I am quite impressed with this knife and am looking forward to putting it through its paces and seeing how well the CPM S30V steel performs. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone but particularly to those who also have the pistol for the matching set.
