Smith's 2-Step Knife Sharpener features two tungsten carbide blades with pre-set angles to ensure the perfect edge every time. Three or four strokes through the carbide sharpening slots will restore the edge on a very dull knife. The two crossed ceramic rods also have pre-set angles and provide a smooth finished edge to already sharp knives. It is lightweight, portable, comes with a lanyard hole, and has non-slip rubber feet for added safety. Excellent for use on all types of knives, especially filet knives.

Trying to sharpen my brand new Ontario Rat II, Firstly, do not ever put this near a decent pocket knife. you cannot get all the way up to the end of the blade, and so it miss shapes your edge. Kitchen knifes from Ikea are fair game, and my wife is blissfully naively happy that I pull our cheap kitchen knifes through this evil device. Do not put this anywhere near a decent knife, don't.

Excellent tool
This is a excellent tool!! It will sharpen a Puma knife that I thought I would have to use on a bench grinder. I like everything about it and would at two times the price. Not least that Smiths is a USA co. Lewis King Florence ms.
