TOORF20SMS: Field 2.0 Fixed Blade - Spanish Moss

Toor Knives

Toor Knives designed the Field 2.0 with everyday use in mind and it has quickly become known as the workhorse of their Outdoor Series. Its small size allows for all-day carry comfort while having the capability to handle almost any task out on the trail.

The edge features a 2.75" straight for fine work, and a razor-sharp 1.75" radius to the tip for traditional blade work. Its KG Gunkote finish provides excellent abrasion, chemical, and impact resistance, and the blade shape allows for much more steel mass behind the edge, which translates to a longer sharpening life and edge impact resistance. A perfect 90-degree spine, from the tip all the way to the thumb jimping, provides more surface area for hammering and ferro rod sparking.

Additionally, handles on the Spanish Moss and Canyon Drab blades are lined with colored G10 accents and ebony scales, providing smooth ergonomics in the hand, as well as excellent grip when operating in wet environments. The wood itself is cut and processed by the Crelicam Ebony mill in Cameroon by a dedicated and hardworking local workforce and each piece is unique, meaning each one of these blades has the potential to be different and stand-alone. Toor individually processes every ebony handle by hand and finishes it with an extremely high grit and buff to ensure the wood will last a lifetime.

This Field 2.0 is made in the USA and includes a DuoTone Kydex sheath, compatible with all Toor mounts.

Not what I was hoping for
Packaging was nice, leather sheath was nice. But thats where it ended. Knife is super thick and I'm sure it's durable. But it just seems like it's overkill thick heavy for no reason in this size of knife. For the size of the blade the handle feels short for me. Could use another half inch in my hands. The dynamic walnut scales on the handle are the worst part. They have sharp edges and don't feel good in the hand at all. Within 2 minutes of opening the box the knife went back in and had to send it back. It's not a well executed knife. For the same cost you could have a HFB Crow Jr. This knife looks cool but that's about it. Disappointed .
