Love this knife
This is the almost perfect hiking/backpacking/outdoors knife. I love mine, and it has handled dried hardwood without any issue between the saw and the blade. My old Swiss Champ from the mid 1980's wouldn't have done so well in that department, at least with the blade. For most tasks in the outdoors, this knife delivers, and at a great price point.

My favorite knife for day hikes
I love this knife, it has everything that I actually use when I'm outdoors (I've never used a SAK cork screw LOL). The knife is robust and large enough that the primary blade is actually useful for many outdoor tasks yet still a nice size to carry. The saw blade is quite functional and cuts amazingly well.
