The Rocky folder is the knife for you if you enjoy the functionality of a Wharncliffe blade. Primarily used for whittling, Wharncliffe blades are also very functional tactical self-defense options as shown to us by Michael Janich on his Ronin and Yojimbo designs. The flat cutting edge will contact and separate more cutting area faster than other blade shapes and its lack angle and belly make each slash extremely devastating. Mikey V's paired that with a comfortable, highly-textured fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle for a knife that you can absolutely depend on without breaking the bank. The knife features a small lanyard hole, strong lockback mechanism and perfectly jimped thumb ramp in addition to dual thumb studs and a reversible tip-up pocket clip which makes it completely ambidextrous. The Rocky is a tactical Wharncliffe option for the masses and we are quickly becoming big fans of this excellent design.
Each knife ships in a V Nives plastic case that should be kept and put to another use. It's made from tough, water-resistant plastic that displays the passion and attention to detail the V Nives family has for their craft.

It Lacks Satisfaction
Let me state that I'm far from being knowledgeable about knives. Currently only own two knives with washers for pivots. The Ontario Strike with bronze washers simply puts the opening action of this knife too shame. Can't even get the washers to move on the Rock.It's overpriced by at least fifteen dollars when compared to the CJRB J1915 which except for the weight is a great EDC. Which is why the Rock was purchased and for it's blade shape. Lastly, it was not purchased for fancy packaging with excessive plastic.
