With the Storm, Viper Knives introduces their first collaboration with Rick Hinderer, one of our favorite custom knifemakers anywhere in the world. It's a robust everyday carry knife that will give ZT-Hinderers a run for their money. The Storm features premium materials, great build quality, and some amazing flipping action. The thickness of the titanium liner along with the handle scales make this knife a hybrid liner lock. It's as rigid and strong as a frame lock, but well-finished and comfortable as a liner lock. Another feature of the Storm is its compatibility the H.M.B.S. (Hinderer Modular Backspacer System), which allows the user choose their preferred backspacer, among other options available. It is also compatible with Rick's signature titanium pocket clip so you can put an expression of yourself on there if you so choose. Thanks to the Storm's compact dimensions, you can take it with you every day yet it truly feels like a tactical knife in the hand.

A go-to option for premium knives. Made by Bohler-Uddeholm, this 3rd generation powder-metal alloy offers high edge retention and excellent stainless properties.
G10 Handles
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.

This knife is a joy to carry, and very fidget-friendly. It mostly stays in my pocket or here at home.
*Blade material is M390, so it joins the many other flippers with that quality material. I had given my stepson one of my previous Vipers and was anxious to get another one. Got it!
*Very, very sharp out of the box—sharper than a Don Rickles insult.
*Incredibly easy to open. Lock had a slick deployment and return.
*I was concerned the handle would be too aggressive with the G10 cut on the sides. Instead, I was pleased with the easy purchase (almost comfortable) I could obtain.
*I'm not a pocket clip kinda guy, so somebody else will have to chime in on that aspect.
*No sheath needed.
*I hope your experience with this cutting tool is much like mine!
