The Baloo is a straightforward Ostap Hel EDC front flipper with a nice wide base and a large amount of cutting potential. Its curvy grip nestles in the hand comfortably and transitions smoothly into the cutting edge with a nice jimped thumb ramp providing excellent purchase. Various onlays create some style within the family and add to the cool factor of the nested frame lock mechanism. This is one of Ostap's best designs, in our opinion, and a knife worthy of your consideration. Sized just right, easy on the eyes, and easy on the pocket - we love it.

The beauty of this knife
I purchased this because I thought it was a bit unusual in terms of the body and blade type.Opening method I chose was front flippers. The knife action.is clean, swift and locks in tight. In fact as a front flipper very easy to operate so much so that that a pointer finger will also be swiftly executed. Guaranteed you will be very happy with this purchase.
