Not bad but limited
Does not eat off unnecessary amounts of metal. I have used this on cheap soft steel kitchen knives and some budget folders.I got the thin kitchen knives pretty hair popping sharp.On my folders with a higher Rockwell. I managed a working edge but struggled to get a shaving edge.On my D2 folder the results were ok but lackluster.Great product for budget kitchen knives and for inexperienced sharpening people like your mother to use. Very safe design.Not so great for higher Rockwell knives in steels like D2.
