Designed by Vict Lin in 2023, the Mad Dog Bowie draws heavy inspiration from traditional Filipino fighting bowies; blades built for speed, power, and decisive cuts. This isn't just aesthetic influence; the recurved edge geometry is there for a reason. That deep recurve bites hard and holds material during the cut, giving you more control and noticeably more efficiency in draw cuts and chopping. Pair that with a long 12.6" cutting edge, and you’re looking at serious reach and leverage - this thing doesn't tap, it commits. Built from Bohler K329, the blade leans into toughness and edge stability. It's not a fragile slicer; it's meant to take impact, keep its edge, and keep going. The 0.21" thickness backs that up without turning it into a crowbar. The G10 handle keeps things grounded - secure, weather-resistant, and grippy without being over-designed. No nonsense, just control when it matters.

Beastly!
This is my fourth WTG knife, and it’s fantastic!! If you like big knives, you will not be disappointed. The fit and finish looks perfect, the Kydex sheath is great with zero rattle and it came hair popping sharp!!! The handle is very comfortable in hand and is large enough for different grip positions. I can’t wait to get this outdoors and put it to work. Oh, and KnifeCenter really rocks- they had my knife packed up, shipped out and in my hands extremely fast!! I highly recommend WTG and KnifeCenter.
