My Grandfather's favorite book was Call of the Wild.  Subsequently, I grew up loving it as well. During his time in World War II as an OSS logistics officer, he carried a Swiss army knife. Fascinated by its extensive utility, he then made a point of it to carry one every day for the rest of his life. I now have it sitting in my box of collectibles from him. When I think about what he did, and what I do in my career, we are both Swiss army knives. Generalists work hard to maximize their capabilities in everything we do. By that same token, I created a knife that held that same wide range of utility. The CARNIVORA x WORKTUFF GEAR Panthera is a knife first, an axe second, a kitchen knife third, and a shovel fourth. That was the order of functionality I wanted. Why? Because the knife is the most helpful tool in human history. The axe introduced an ability for us to build entire cities. For thousands of years, the kitchen knife prepared our food in the foothills, the jungles, and the kitchen. And lastly, adding the beveled front end allows you to use it for digging, planning, and potentially a pry-bar. That's the kind of knife my grandfather would want to send his men into combat with. This knife is purpose-built for any situation, no matter how tough, because that's the standard my Grandfather held his men and their tools.
