The CJRB Ekko series uses AR-RPM9 powder metallurgy steel. This proprietary stainless steel is designed to offer a balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening at a highly competitive price point.

The primary difference lies in the handle contouring and scale materials. The liner lock versions of the Ekko feature contoured Micarta or G10 handle scales for a more rounded feel in the hand, whereas the button lock versions feature flat scales made from materials like stainless steel, carbon fiber, or flat green Micarta.

The Ekko features a modified sheepsfoot blade shape with a high flat grind and a swedge along the spine. It incorporates a noticeable belly, giving it a profile that performs similarly to a drop point and making it highly versatile for everyday utility tasks.

You can deploy the blade using the front flipper or the elongated blade cutout, which allows for thumb or middle-finger flicking. The knife operates on ceramic ball bearings in the pivot to ensure a smooth, rapid action.

Yes, standard models of the CJRB Ekko come with a reversible deep-carry pocket clip. On the contoured handle versions, the clip is inset into the scale, while the flat-handled models have the clip mounted directly to the surface; both configurations use flush-mounted screws to minimize pocket snagging.
