Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.

Fine knife
I didn't buy it to keep in my car. But that's a handy place for it for when I go to the walk up ATM (assistant to mugging). I'm older so you know I would defer to a gun. But someone who wants to intimidate me just physically, well, I hope it never comes in handy in that regard. The weight and blade length look persuasive to me unschooled eye.
