BCC2148: C2148 Heritage Walnut Single Blade Trapper

Bear & Son Cutlery

The Heritage Walnut Series by Bear & Son gives you a vintage look with the wood handles, while still giving you the durability and service of modern knives. The single blade trapper is a perfect example of an everyday carry knife. With such a manageable size and weight it becomes just as important as your cellphone and wallet when leaving the house. The 1095 carbon steel has become a fan favorite over the generations for its edge holding capability and ease of sharpening. The beauty of the knife comes from the walnut handles and nickel silver bolsters, which give this knife a clean and classic look.

Bear & Son have a skilled and experienced work force capable of performing many of the extra hand operations that go into the making of their products. While some companies only assemble parts brought from various suppliers and put their names on the product, they do everything in house from building their own blanking dies to heat treating, grinding and assembly, and hand finishing their products. These steps ensure that Bear & Son Cutlery is of excellent quality and a real value for both the dealer and the consumer.

Nice looking knife and American made in Florida. Knife arrived early and DULL. Next to nothing edge from the manufacturer. Something to place in your pocket while wearing a suit. Not for every day use. I had to use a shopmate to get an edge. First Bear and Son knife I owned. Seems flimsy in your hand. No blade lock at all.
