Bear OPS
An upgrade in quality from the previous iterations, the Rancor VIII executive flipper is a more elegant take on the series. Slightly smaller than its compatriots, it fits unobtrusively into a pocket, while still being comfortable to hold and use. The satin blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel which sports a good combination of corrosion resistance, edge retention, and hardness. It deploys easily thanks to the integrated flipper tab and locks up firmly with a sturdy frame lock. The extra slim handles come in two material choices; either black stonewashed titanium or attractive carbon fiber. Both of these materials look and feel great to use.

Great materials, made in USA, looks awesome. Solid lock up and blade centering. The fit and finish isn’t great and the laser etching on the blade and pocket clip is terrible. This is a good quality user knife at a good price. A little difficult to depress the frame lock. It’s a gentleman’s knife that you can use and not worry about it.
