The original Zero Tolerance 0454 was an award-winning collaboration between ZT and custom knife designer Dmitry Sinkevich. But it was also a very Limited Edition knife.
To make this amazing knife more readily available, ZT has created a new-for-2015 version based on the original’s streamlined form and high-performance function. The 0452CF is the same size as the original 0454, but with a carbon fiber front scale and S35VN dual-finished blade. S35VN sharpens to a razor edge, holds it, and can be resharpened easily. The 0452CF opens as smooth as butter with the KVT ball-bearing opening system and built-in flipper. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert ensures solid lock up.
As a final touch of class, the 0452CF features handsome 5-spoke pivot hardware. From office to outdoors, the 0452CF is ready to go wherever you're ready to take it.

Loved the knife. Very smooth action and very nice blade. If you buy, replace the clip immediately. I lost mine the second time I carried it because the clip is too small for the knife. Very disappointed to lose it so quickly, whoever found it really lucked out…

I wanted a folder with a good blade length for when I wasn't able to carry a fixed blade. There's lots that fit that category but my primary concern was that it would be lightweight enough to not be any trouble carrying. This is the perfect knife for that use! I love how lightweight it is. Really great quality as well. I must say though I don't put it through hard use as it's a knife that I want to keep Sharp, primarily for defensive purposes. I've had it for 4 or 5 years now and the action is still just as smooth as the day I got it. At one point it got a little grimy from something that was in my pocket but a little bit of lightweight gun oil fixed it right up. I'm really happy with the purchase.

Such a nice big knife
This knife is so well built with perfectly smooth opening action. You can easily flip open this knife even if you put pressure on the lock bar, which cannot be said to other framelock flipper. The overall fit and finish is impeccable and the blade finish is totally fingerprint free. The factory edge is definitely sharp enough. Just one very minor con is that the deep carry pocket clip can be more well designed as it looks like an afterthought right now. All in all, love this knife!
