The pistol grip handle allows for use in a forward and a reverse grip and leads perfectly into a natural thumb ramp and finger guard. Your hand isn't going anywhere. The modified sheepsfoot blade makes the tip a little better at puncturing while still providing ample belly for all your slicing cuts. Its placement below the handle makes it cut like a kitchen knife - effortlessly when properly sharpened. Jimping on the thumb ramp you expect but the bonus patch near the tip that allows for fine detail work is extra sweet.
