ESEE Knives

Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information. 

This is the model that started it all. After designing the RAT-3 for Ontario Knife Company, it was the first design they brought over when ESEE Knives (Formerly RAT Cutlery) was formed. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH. The ESEE-3 is still a favorite amongst law enforcement and military teams due to its light weight, thin profile and various sheath options.

Great utility/edc knife. Fits well in the hand and is a handy length for everyday use. Not a really a fighting style knife,so if that's what you're looking for you may want something else. For what it's designed for though,it is well worth the money. 1095 is my favorite knife steel,sharpened on my spyderco tri angle and it will 'pop' the hairs off of my arm. Going to get the 6 next.

very nice knife, but the blade is so short the I really wish this one didn't have a finger choil.

Best Camping/travel Knife
It is the perfect size for light duty and easy to carry around. The molle makes it very easy to carry on my pack. Great feel in the hand and come very sharp.
