Another solid entry into Bestech's line, the Slasher is one beast of a folding knife. The D2 tool steel blade has a sweeping sheepsfoot design with a decent amount of belly and a smooth profile. The blade deploys quickly and smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearings in the pivot assembly that Bestech has perfected. The handle scales are made from durable micarta that has a lightly textured finish that gives a solid grip. A large finger groove and smooth bevels add to the already great ergonomics of this knife. Bestech's version of the crossbar lock provides rock-solid lockup and is easily disengaged with either hand. The deep carry wire pocket clip perfectly finishes this powerhouse of a folding knife. This model features green canvas Micarta handles and a black stonewashed blade. This larger rendition of the original Slasher series will easily become one of your new favorites because it's reliable, easy to use, and just an all around fantastic knife.

Very Useful Blade Shape
After trying (and mostly liking) a true sheepsfoot blade on another knife, I wanted to try this as an alternative, as some job duties (peeling labels, etc) just didn't work well with that perfectly straight shape. This has been awesome! Just enough belly to do anything work related, and the blade shape is quite useful for EDC duties. Lock quickly smoothed up with a few drops of lube and some use, and locks up perfectly. First blade touch up made it shaving sharp, and handle is comfortable with large hands. If you have reservations about the blade shape, get over it and buy one. I really like this knife and it has moved to the top of my EDC rotation.
