Brian Tighe produces one-of-a-kind functional and visually appealing knives of the highest caliber. His blades are the product of more than 25 years of experience and extensive training in the Tool and Die trade, along with a solid foundation in metallurgy, design, construction, and heat treating. Brian's knives have been featured in hardcover books, magazines, and trade shows, winning "Most Innovative Design" at the 2010 and 2012 BLADE Shows in Atlanta, GA. He specializes in pocket knives and folding knives with custom locks and steel designs. 

No stranger to automatic knives, Brian has been making push-button side openers for years but the Twist Tighe is his first out-the-front design. Making its debut at the 2019 Las Vegas Custom Knife Show, this is a stylish working knife built to rival the current standard for OTF knives; Microtech. And we must say, the Twist Tighe does just that.

This slender, ergonomic, beautifully milled piece of tactical art is built for battle but perfectly suited for everyday carry as well. It fires a little slower than a Microtech, more along the lines of the Benchmade Infidel, which many will prefer. It features a premium Damasteel Damacore DC18N double edge dagger blade, milled titanium frame, Begg-style ceramic ball timascus pocket clip, carbon fiber thumb slide, and glass breaker butt end. The traction on the thumb slide and titanium frame is excellent, providing great harmony between user and instrument. This is an OTF design anyone can appreciate, and we're excited to be able to bring it to you.
