The 263 HiLine XL is a larger version of the 263 HiLine ball bearing flipper. With a cleaver blade, anodized aluminum handles in three color ways, Micarta onlays, and a deep carry, reversible, removable pocket clip, this large everyday carry is up for any daily task. It also carries extremely well for a knife its size and shape. Minimal pocket presence but still a force to be reckoned with.

First and last China Buck
Haven't chucked in the can yet but close to it,blade had to be properly beveled and performed like D2 afterwards so ok on that, aluminum is soft so that's a -,pivot lubrication didn't help sometimes it will flip sometimes not.Large areas of discolor on alleged micarta.

Bigger; But Better?
I wanted it! I got it! But did I really need it? Not really! It's not biggerr enough to make it necessary to me!Sure, if I didn't already have the originai HiLine, this is a reasonable substitute, though I find it does not deploy as easily in MY hand as the slightly smaller original! Probably acceptable to most, and a very nice knife after all, particularly aesthetically! If you like it, and have large hands, by all means grab one! In fact, if Buck were to update the original to thislook, I would most likely replace my original, while passing this one on to my grandson and retainng my original in my collection!! I like it that much! Definitely recommended!
