Poor overall quality and odd customer service experience
Received the knife today and right out of the box I noticed spacing on the back of the handle liners. I was willing to get past that but I was opening and closing the knife a little too easy…..Then it dawned on me that the locking mechanism didn’t even work…. There was a flat out defect where the locking mechanism appeared to be a little too high and it was stuck in place and could not be moved over with my thumb. Unacceptable for the price for this knife. My Milwaukee utility folder from Home Depot is better quality than this case knife. So then the customer service comes into play…. They seemed to question me about the defect and instead of reassuring a refund they said they would need to look into it and investigate a little more … they would send me an email later in the day with their response about what to do next . Finally after receiving the email they said their specialist said that this knife does not lock in place but it locks in place by “friction “ . They then later corrected themselves and offered to send me a return label. This was the oddest experience I’ve had with customer service. Yes KC it wasn’t your fault that the knife is defective but next time just offer the refund and save me the argument… ridiculous!
