Description
CIKL0061: Scottish Sgian Dubh Knife
Legacy Arms
The Sgian Dubh (pronounced "skee(a)n doo") is a ceremonial dagger traditionally worn with modern Scottish Highland attire, including the kilt. Typically tucked into the hose with only the pommel visible, its name, meaning "black knife" in Gaelic, may refer to the dark handle or suggest secrecy, akin to the term "blackmail." This Generation 2 / Legacy Arms version draws inspiration from the lore and interpretations of the dagger’s origins and the Gaelic term "Dubh."
Legacy Arms offers a streamlined design that fits snugly in your hose (or sock). It features an ironwood handle, a tempered blade with full tang construction, and a peened top. The dagger comes with a wooden sheath wrapped in leather.
