OMG.Very sharp. A big knife with solid build quality.Outstanding value
This is my second largest coding knife, the other (a tie really) is the Ruike Fang. Both are amazing for their respective features. The action is smooth out of the box, if a little bit of hang up in a spot or 2. A couple of dozen flicks later, and it falls shut. Perfectly centered with no need for adjustment. The CF scale are pretty, and match other CF items I have in every way, which is my current yardstick for knowing it is real CF. I hand sharpen my knives. This feels like real D2. Takes as long as real D2 on my Choseras and my King 6K. which brings me to my next points: The grind was a little uneven along each side, giving an uneven edge grind. That is the reason for the 4 stars. I'd only ding half a star if I could. That being said, this has a 13.5 degree per side edge angle. It was wicked sharp out of the box with what looked like a 4-600 mesh finish. But it popped hair off my arm without scraping skin. Take that in for a second. 13.5 degrees per side. Out of the box.I only polished up to Bark River White. Factory angle evened up nice and polished up to Ooops=stitches real nicely. This blade shape really lends itself to pointer-on-top grip, but it'll take the thumb on topped carve logs.Great blade, amazing value, I wish I could carry this thing In southern California..... as it is, I have an amazing knife that didn't hit the bank too hard, but is like a giant X-acto knife. wicked sharp, long lasting, and comfy to hold. The clip fits over heavy duty seams in some work jeans.If you are wondering about this knife, give it a shot, it'll be a good addition to your collection, or a great only-knife.
